Janna graduated from National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Laws in 2018. She also has a Diploma in Biomedical Science and a Certificate in Applied Psychology.

Janna started her legal career as a trainee at HLS and is now an associate director. During her time at HLS, she has assisted in a variety of matters, including:

Drafting, reviewing and advising on contracts for various corporations ranging from SMEs to notable public infrastructure providers in Singapore;

Shareholders’ dispute in which she worked with financial advisers on intricate issues in a share valuation;

Court of Appeal matters dealing with points of law which decided in favour of HLS;

Personal protection order application including one that highlighted gaslighting as a form continual harassment/domestic violence;

Negotiating and successfully resolving disputes in both family & civil matters.
Janna has a strong passion for social justice and founded The Necessary Good during her university days, which won her the NUS Pro Bono Office Special Recognition Award.
She has been featured in the following publications:
Janna also founded KEJJ Co. with a group of friends in her university days, which was a platform for local artists to sell their handmade crafts. In her free time, she enjoys good stories, musicals, jewellery-crafting, carpentry, puzzle games and cooking for people who love to eat.
