Amy Cheah was called to the Singapore Bar in March 1991. She has been practising as a solicitor, specialising in the areas of general conveyancing, land law and corporate real estate.
She has worked in several firms including Wong Tan & Molly Lim, Wong Partnership and Hoe & Cheah. She joined M/s Heng, Leong & Srinivasan in 2004.
She has represented parties at all levels personal, corporate, statutory and governmental and both domestic and foreign interests. Clients have included parties in sales and purchases of residential, commercial, industrial and JTC and URA land, and ancillary matters; mortgagees in all variety of charges, mortgages, assignments and other security documents related to loan transactions or other secured credit facilities; the CPF Board with regards all matters relating to charges created under the CPF Act; landlords and tenants in industrial, commercial, retail and residential leases; developers in acquisition of private or governments lots and sales of units or plots in the ensuing developments whether licensed or unlicensed.
Amy is also admitted as a legal practitioner in New South Wales, Australia.
Amy is married and has three daughters. She enjoys reading.
